Obverse description The obverse features the Singapore Arms — a shield bearing a crescent moon and five stars, supported by a lion rampant to the left and a tiger to the right, with a scroll below inscribed MAJULAH SINGAPURA. The national arms are rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The country name appears in four scripts around the periphery: Latin (SINGAPURA) at the top, Tamil (சிங்கப்பூர்) at the left, and Chinese (新加坡) at the right. The date 2007 and the English legend SINGAPORE appear along the lower rim.
