The characters are boldly rendered in the archaic seal script style characteristic of Northern Song imperial coinage under Emperor Huizong's reign. The inner field is bounded by a raised inner rim encircling the square hole, and the design is further framed by a broad, flat outer rim. The surface shows typical casting texture consistent with Southern Song-era workshop production. |
