Reverse description Central denomination inscription TWO ANNAS arranged across three lines, followed by INDIA and the date 1861, all set within a richly detailed floral and foliate wreath that fills the entire field. The wreath is composed of scrolling acanthus-style leaves and floral sprays, executed with fine engraving typical of Royal Mint pattern work of the period. A beaded border frames the design at the periphery.
