Obverse description Bare head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the late Classical Macedonian style with loosely curling hair bound by a tainia. The modelling of the facial features is naturalistic, with a well-defined profile, prominent brow, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in voluminous locks around the neck and temples, characteristic of Macedonian bronze coinage of this period. The field is unscribed.
