| Obverse description | Bare-headed, bearded effigy of King Carl XV facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair and beard detail. The truncation of the neck is unadorned. A continuous beaded border frames the design. The royal legend is inscribed around the periphery in two registers, with a small five-pointed star serving as separator between the dynastic title and the legal motto. |
