| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central text block in Cyrillic script announcing a 5% short-term State Treasury obligation, payable to the bearer on 1 October 1920, with the denomination 1000 roubles stated in both figures and words. An uncrowned double-headed eagle vignette appears at the left within an ornate guilloche border, alongside printed denomination panels reading '1000' on each side.
