Obverse description The Hungarian small coat of arms — a crowned shield divided vertically, displaying the traditional double cross and horizontal stripes — is prominently positioned in the upper central field, flanked by the date 1995 split to either side of the shield. The large denomination numeral '1000' appears boldly in the lower field, with the word 'FORINT' inscribed beneath it. The circular legend 'MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG' (Republic of Hungary) runs along the upper periphery, with the Budapest mint mark 'BP.' at lower left. The engraver's signature 'BOGNÁR' appears discreetly in the lower right field.
