Reverse description Central design features a forward-facing bust portrait of Ányos Jedlik, the Hungarian inventor and physicist, set within a raised rectangular frame occupying the central field. Jedlik is depicted in clerical attire with a high collar, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic modelling. The legend 'JEDLIK ÁNYOS' appears in large characters above the portrait across the upper field. To the left of the portrait, reading vertically upward, is the inscription 'A DINAMÓ-ELV LEÍRÓJA' (Describer of the dynamo principle); to the right, also reading vertically, the year '1861' commemorates his documentation of the dynamo principle. The birth and death years '1800–1895' appear in the lower field, with the engraver's initials 'BB' at lower right and a small cross monogram to the lower right of the portrait frame.
