背面描述	An intaglio vignette of the Central Bank of China building in Shanghai occupies the upper portion, rendered in fine architectural detail with a clock tower and flagpole. Below, a central cartouche with guilloche underprint carries the large numeral 1000 and the English inscription ONE THOUSAND CUSTOMS GOLD UNITS. Two facsimile signatures of bank officials appear at the lower centre, with the numeral 1000 repeated in each corner within guilloche panels.
