On the circumference, the protruding edge and the inscription `REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN` in English and the inscription `125 oz Au 999` denoting the metal from which the coin is made, its sample and mass, and the number `2004` denoting the year of coinage. The inscriptions and the number are separated by dots.
