Obverse description Central field features the Lion Capital of Ashoka (the national emblem of India), depicted in high relief atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra. The motto 'Satyameva Jayate' (Truth Alone Triumphs) appears in Devanagari script beneath the emblem. The denomination '100 RUPEES' is boldly inscribed in the lower field in large numerals, with the bilingual country name 'भारत INDIA' arranged vertically along the left and right inner borders in Devanagari and Latin scripts respectively. The design is executed in a clean, official style consistent with Indian commemorative coinage of the period.
