Obverse descriptionOrnamental large numeral 100 in the centre, value tablets in English top left and Hindi at bottom right. Compared to previous design, shifting of prefix numbers to top right & bottom left in red. Released in April 1967. Commonly known as a `Diamond Series` note due to the intricate ornamental pattern printed within the numeral `100` on the obverse.
