Reverse description The reverse is engraved entirely in blue-green, with a large central medallion containing a seated allegorical female figure — Britannia with helmet and shield — surrounded by the inscription "MEDITATI" and fine engine-turned lacework. Symmetrical guilloche panels with floral rosettes and geometric latticework fill the left and right fields, with the denomination numeral "100" at each side.
