| 备注 |
The Banknot Matbaası in Ankara had been operational for roughly fourteen years by the time this note was issued, still building its technical reputation after decades of reliance on foreign printers — De La Rue and others — for Turkey's currency production. The engraver credit to Jan Piwzcyk points to the skilled émigré labor the institution recruited heavily during its early decades, Polish craftsmen among them, to transfer intaglio expertise to domestic staff.
Series VI 100 Lira notes were issued against a backdrop of chronic inflation that would eventually render the denomination nearly worthless by the 1980s, making circulated survivors from this period far more common than uncirculated stock.
