| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King Zog I in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and strong facial features in the neoclassical style. The bust is framed by an open laurel wreath tied at the base, its branches extending symmetrically upward along both sides of the field. The circular legend reads 'ZOG·I·ALBAN·REX' interspersed among the wreath leaves. The engraver's signatures 'G. ROMAGNOLI' and 'A. MOTTI-INC.' appear incused in small lettering at the base of the design beneath the wreath. |

| Reverse description | The Albanian state emblem depicted as a boldly rendered double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread wide and talons extended, shown in fine feather detail. Atop the two heads rests the royal helmet of Skanderbeg, a crested casque rendered in detailed relief. The denomination 'Fr.A' appears to the lower left of the eagle and '100' to the lower right, with the date '1928' at bottom left and the Rome mint mark 'R' at bottom right. The word 'PROVA' (Trial) is inscribed in small letters in the upper left field. |
