Reverse description A large, boldly rendered double-headed eagle with wings displayed fills the central field, its two heads facing outward and surmounted by a single crowned helmet, emblematic of the Albanian national symbol. The denomination 'Fr. A 100' appears to the lower left of the eagle and '100' to the lower right, with the date '1928' and mint mark 'R' (for Rome) inscribed along the lower exergual area. The word 'PROVA' (trial) is struck in the upper left field, identifying this piece as a pattern or proof trial strike. The eagle's plumage is rendered with exceptional detail and sculptural depth, consistent with the high standards of the Rome Mint.
