Reverse description The reverse depicts a historical coin press at center, its screw mechanism and crossbar rendered in fine relief, commemorating 175 years of Belgian coinage from 1832 to 2007, with the dates flanking the press on either side. Surrounding the press are six circular medallions, each reproducing a representative coin from a different Belgian royal reign: at bottom center, a laureate portrait coin of Leopold I; at lower left, an early Belgian 10 centime piece with wreath; at lower right, a kneeling figure 'Belgique' coin; at upper left, a bare-headed portrait coin of Leopold III or Albert I; at upper center, a portrait coin of Baudouin I encircled by stars; and at upper right, an Atomium commemorative coin dated 1958. The overall composition celebrates the numismatic heritage of the Kingdom of Belgium across its successive monarchies.
