Obverse description The obverse displays the Singapore state arms at centre, featuring a shield bearing a crescent moon and five stars, supported by a lion rampant to the left and a tiger rampant to the right, with a ribbon below inscribed MAJULAH SINGAPURA. The legend SINGAPURA arcs across the upper field in Latin characters, flanked on the left by the Tamil inscription சிங்கப்பூர் and on the right by the Chinese characters 新加坡, both reading vertically along the inner rim. The date 2007 appears in the lower centre field, with SINGAPORE arcing along the lower legend in bold Latin lettering.
