Obverse description Central field features a large circular medallion containing the Chinese character '城' (or similar) set against a finely engine-turned lined background. Surrounding the central medallion is a ring of eighteen open circles arranged in an elliptical border, with small floral or rosette ornaments at the left and right sides. The milled border with beaded rim frames the entire design. This side bears no principal legend and represents the denomination side of this Sichuan-style imitation coinage.
