Reverse description The reverse presents a dynamic full-figure depiction of a 17th-century Polish winged hussar mounted on a rearing horse, rendered in bold sculptural relief against a mirror-polished field. The hussar is shown in full plate armor, wearing the characteristic feathered wings that rise dramatically behind his shoulders, and carries a long lance from which a large battle banner streams to the left. The composition conveys martial power and momentum, characteristic of this elite cavalry force that was the pride of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The vertical legend 'HUSARZ – XVII w.' is inscribed along the right border of the rectangular flan.
