Beschrijving voorzijde Heart-shaped flan bearing an elaborate symmetrical design composed of traditional Chinese auspicious motifs rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. At center, a large stylized shou (longevity) character is formed by intricately interlaced ruyi-cloud scrollwork and floral tendrils, creating a dense, lace-like decorative composition. The upper portion of the heart features a rectangular cartouche containing the legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China), flanked by additional scrollwork filling the lobes of the heart. The date 2019 appears in the lower field beneath the central motif.

Aanvullende informatie

Part of China's long-running "Auspicious Culture" bullion and commemorative series, which the People's Bank of China expanded aggressively through the 2010s to capture both domestic gift-giving demand during Lunar New Year and the growing international market for Chinese-themed silver. The series draws on folk traditions and decorative motifs that the state has actively promoted since the 1980s as part of a broader cultural rehabilitation following the suppressions of the Cultural Revolution.
