| Description du revers | The reverse features a central circular inlay of tiger eye gemstone, upon which the facade of Toompea Castle in Tallinn, the historic seat of Estonian governance, is depicted in commemoration of the final issue of the Estonian Kroon. The castle tower and medieval fortifications are rendered in detail against the warm chatoyant surface of the gemstone. The English-language legend 'FINAL ISSUE OF THE ESTONIAN CROWN' curves along the upper periphery, with the date '2004' flanked by two five-pointed stars positioned at the lower portion of the legend. |
