| Beschrijving voorzijde | Letterpress print in black on pale paper with a red underprint, with elaborate Baroque-style vignettes of putti occupying the upper corners and lower register, several holding attributes including a torch and a shield bearing the numeral 10. The issuer's title "DIE BANK FÜR SÜDDEUTSCHLAND" is set in bold blackletter type at the top centre, beneath which the denomination "Zehn Thaler" appears in large Gothic script, followed by the place and date of issue. Two manuscript signatures appear below the printed signature lines, with folio, series, and serial number cartouches positioned at the upper left, lower left, and upper right. |
