The issuer's title "DIE BANK FÜR SÜDDEUTSCHLAND" is set in bold blackletter type at the top centre, beneath which the denomination "Zehn Thaler" appears in large Gothic script, followed by the place and date of issue. Two manuscript signatures appear below the printed signature lines, with folio, series, and serial number cartouches positioned at the upper left, lower left, and upper right. |
