Reverse description Central device depicts a seated male figure, representing a physician or healer, turned to the left and holding an upright staff; the figure is rendered in a stylised Egyptian manner and is positioned atop a stepped plinth inscribed '١٨ مارس' (18 March). To the left of the figure stands a section of brickwork surmounted by a crescent-and-caduceus medical emblem. Behind the figure rises an architectural element evoking the facade of Kasr Al-Ainy hospital. The upper legend 'من أجل بناء قصر العيني' (For Building Kasr Al-Ainy) arcs across the top, while the lower legend 'يوم الطبيب المصرى' (Day of the Egyptian Doctor) curves along the bottom, with 'الله الشافى' (God is the Healer) at the upper right. The design is enclosed by the same geometric dash-and-tick border as the obverse.
