| Reverse description | Octagonal zinc token with a continuous pearl (beaded) rim along the outer edge and a twisted rope circle defining the inner field. The large numeral '10' dominates the central field. The legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' (small change substitute token) curves around the upper portion of the rope border. At the base of the inner circle, three small five-pointed stars are evenly spaced as decorative separators. The design is simple and functional, characteristic of privately issued German emergency coinage. |

Hirschfelde's flax spinning industry was among the more industrially intensive operations in Saxon Lusatia, and company-issued tokens of this kind filled a practical gap when small-denomination Reichsmark coinage was in chronically short supply during and immediately after World War I — the period when the vast majority of German factory notgeld entered circulation. H.C. Müller's zinc pieces were almost certainly redeemable only at the company store or canteen, binding workers' purchasing power directly to the issuing firm.
