To the left, a bold letterpress vignette of Osterburg castle rising above wooded terrain, rendered in black with expressive contrast. To the right, the denomination '10 Pfennig' appears in large Gothic blackletter type above the text 'Gutschein der Stadt Weida' and a redemption clause, below which the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister is printed; the series letter 'Q' appears in the upper right. The four borders carry local folk proverbs in Gothic script.

背面描述	Green and black note with an overall fine guilloche underprint enclosed within an ornamental letterpress border of repeating foliate and dot motifs. The city arms of Weida — a quartered shield surmounted by a decorative crest — occupy the centre, flanked symmetrically by the numeral '10' on each side above the word 'Pfennig' in Gothic blackletter. A two-line validity notice in Gothic script runs along the lower portion of the note.
