Reverse description The reverse of this obverse trial strike (tuerca) is entirely blank, presenting a plain, unadorned heptagonal field with no design, legend, or inscription whatsoever. The flat surface shows numerous contact marks, scratches, and minor spots of verdigris, consistent with the handling typical of experimental pattern planchets. The plain reverse confirms this piece was struck solely to test the obverse die and planchet characteristics, with no reverse die employed during production.
