Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Oscar I facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The bust is truncated at the shoulder and positioned centrally within the coin's field. A circular legend surrounds the effigy along the rim, separated from the portrait by a raised inner border. The engraving displays a restrained classical style consistent with mid-19th century Scandinavian medallic art.
