| 表面の銘文 | CHARLES III · BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY · 2025 · |
| 裏面の説明 | A highly detailed, naturalistically rendered depiction of a Crab Spider (Thomisidae) occupies the central field, shown from above with legs splayed outward in a characteristic crab-like posture and a large rounded abdomen dominating the upper field. The engraving by Mike Langman captures fine surface texture and anatomical detail of the spider's body and limbs. The denomination TEN PENCE appears in a curved legend along the upper rim, while CRAB SPIDER is inscribed in a straight legend along the lower rim. |

Guernsey has issued wildlife-themed decimal coinage intermittently since the 1980s, operating outside the UK's Royal Mint agreements and free to select its own reverse subjects. The crab spider — ambush predators that change colour to match flowers — is an unusual choice for circulating coinage, appearing here as part of a broader fauna series rather than any commemorative programme. Whether these actually circulate in meaningful numbers or go directly into collector packaging is a question Guernsey's small population largely answers by default.
