Reverse description A large Greek cross occupies the center of the field, with a six-pointed star positioned in each of the four angles formed by the arms of the cross. The entire composition is enclosed within a wreath border, rendered in relief with stylized leaf elements visible around the full circumference. The design is bold and deeply struck, consistent with the Ravenna mint's production style during the reign of Justinian I. The cross motif reflects the Christian imperial iconography prevalent on Byzantine bronze coinage of the sixth century.
