| Obverse description | Printed entirely in green on a plain paper ground, the design is purely typographic and geometric with no pictorial vignette. A central horizontal cartouche framed by fine guilloche banding carries the denomination inscription "Zehn Mark" in bold serif lettering, flanked on each side by a circular medallion bearing the numeral "10" within a dotted border and ornamental rosette surround. The camp name "HAMMERSTEIN" appears in a lower banner, with the restriction notice "NUR GEFANGENENGELD" set in smaller capitals beneath, and "GEFANGENENLAGER" arching across the top in a curved border panel. |
