| 正面描述 | A detailed architectural rendering of the Patriarchal Palace of Bucharest occupies the central field, depicted in raised relief with neoclassical facade detail. The curved legend PALATUL PATRIARHAL arches above the building, flanked by a patriarchal cross at the apex. Below the building, the country name ROMANIA appears to the left, the date 2010 to the right, and the Romanian coat of arms is centered between them. The denomination 10 LEI is inscribed in large characters at the bottom of the field. |

Miron Cristea served simultaneously as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church and, from 1938, as Prime Minister under King Carol II's royal dictatorship — an overlap of ecclesiastical and executive authority with few parallels in 20th-century European governance. He died in office in March 1939, having held the patriarchal throne since its creation in 1925.
This 2010 issue marks the 85th anniversary of the Romanian Patriarchate's establishment.
