| Obverse description | The obverse features a low-relief landscape composition depicting Saint Theodosius of the Caves in a posture of prayer, kneeling with a halo within a cave entrance framed by timber supports, rendered in a stylized medieval iconographic manner. In the upper right of the field, a domed church with a cross-topped cupola rises above rolling hills, evoking the early Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The Ukrainian state trident (tryzub) appears at the top center above the Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА, with the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ flanking the lower portion of the trident and the year 2016 inscribed to the right. The entire composition is executed in antique-finished silver with a matte field, accentuating the sculptural relief of the design. |

The saint holds an open scroll inscribed in Church Slavonic: ГОСПОДИ, В ІМ'Я ПРЕСВЯТОЇ БОГОРОДИЦІ, МАТЕРІ ТВОЄЇ, ЗВЕДЕНИЙ БУВ ХРАМ ЦЕЙ.
