| Obverse description | The upper portion of the obverse features a decorative band of traditional Ukrainian embroidery (vyshyvanka) pattern in relief, at the centre of which appears the small Ukrainian trident state emblem (tryzub). Superimposed over the decorative band is the bold Cyrillic inscription 'УКРАЇНА' (Ukraine). The lower field, rendered with a mirror-like proof finish, depicts a detailed panoramic cityscape of Ternopil, including historic ecclesiastical architecture with Baroque cupolas to the left and civic buildings to the right, with the city's heraldic shield centrally placed above the skyline. The date '2015' appears in the lower centre field, with the denomination legend 'ДЕСЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ' (Ten Hryvnias) inscribed in Cyrillic along the lower arc. |
