| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a stylized panoramic view of the town of Sudak as seen from the Genoese fortress wall, with the townscape and beaches depicted to the left. To the right, against a background evoking the Black Sea, the inscription СУДАК / 1800 / РОКІВ (Sudak / 1800 / years) is arranged vertically, commemorating the city's 1800th anniversary. The municipal coat of arms of Sudak appears alongside the inscription, rendered with fine detail. The composition balances architectural and maritime elements in a harmonious numismatic design. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Sudak is a Crimean coastal city whose medieval Genoese fortress — built in stages from the late 13th century onward — served as one of the Black Sea's most strategically vital trading posts, controlling access to Silk Road commerce flowing through the region. Ukraine issued a series of commemorative silver coins honoring its historical architectural monuments, and Sudak's citadel anchors the Crimean peninsula's pre-Ottoman past in stone.
This coin was struck just two years before Russia's annexation of Crimea rendered the site effectively inaccessible to Ukrainian cultural administration.
