Obverse description The obverse features an elaborate baroque-style acanthus and rocaille scroll ornament rendered in high relief, occupying the central field and evoking the decorative vocabulary of 18th-century Ukrainian Baroque architecture. The small shield-shaped trident emblem of Ukraine (the State Coat of Arms) is struck at the upper centre above the scrollwork. The three-line Cyrillic legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ and the date 2011 appear in the lower field beneath the ornamental design.

Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed three-quarter frontal view of St Andrew's Church in Kyiv, a masterpiece of Ukrainian Baroque architecture designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli and built in the 18th century. The church is depicted with its characteristic central dome surmounted by a gilded onion finial and cross, flanked by four corner turrets each topped with smaller onion domes and crosses, all rendered with remarkable sculptural precision. The elaborate façade with its pilasters, arched windows, and ornamental cartouches is faithfully reproduced in relief. The curved Cyrillic legend АНДРІЇВСЬКА ЦЕРКВА arcs along the left rim, with the inscription КИЇВ appearing in the lower right field and the abbreviation XVIII ст. (18th century) positioned vertically along the right inner border.
