| Obverse description | Printed in green on cream paper, the obverse is divided into two zones by a decorative scrollwork border with guilloche underprint: the left panel carries the denomination numeral '10' within a circular frame above the validity date 'Gültig bis 30. Dezemb 1920' and the anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung wird bestraft', with 'Heller' lettered at top. The right panel presents an oval vignette of a rural church with a prominent tower set among trees, rendered in a bold woodcut-like style.
