正面描述 Blue-grey and red-brown Notgeld note centred on a circular vignette enclosing the municipal coat of arms of Aschach, quartered with grapevine motifs and framed by a stylised Gothic monogram. A ribbon scroll bearing the legend 'des Marckt Aschach' bisects the vignette, while the denomination '10' occupies each corner within red-brown roundels set against vertical red-and-white striped panels. 'Heller' is inscribed in Gothic lettering across the upper margin, with 'Not-Geld' and 'Aschach' running along the lateral and lower borders respectively.

备注

Aschach an der Donau is a small market town on the upper Danube in Upper Austria, and this 10 Heller note is a product of the acute small-change shortage that gripped Austria in the immediate postwar years. The dissolution of the Habsburg monetary system left local communities without adequate coin supplies, and hundreds of Austrian municipalities printed their own Notgeld between roughly 1919 and 1922 to fill the gap.

These hyperlocal issues were legal under emergency provisions but carried no guarantee beyond the issuing municipality's word. Aschach's version is among the more obscure of the Upper Austrian series.
