Obverse description Central field features the quartered coat of arms of the Kingdom of Poland, displaying in the dexter quarter a spread eagle and in the sinister quarter the mounted knight (Pahonia) on horseback, the whole surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial. The date 1831 is divided by the lower corners of the shield, with '18' to the left and '31' to the right. The circular legend KROLESTWO POLSKIE arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters.
