| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a richly detailed scene commemorating the Gansabhauet festival of Sursee, Canton Lucerne. In the foreground, a costumed figure wearing a sun mask with radiating spikes and a jester's ruff is shown holding a pole from which a plucked goose is suspended. Historic urban architecture, including a clock tower and guild buildings, is rendered in low relief in the background across both the copper-nickel centre and aluminium bronze ring, evoking the traditional town square setting of the festival.
