The entire inscription is framed within a decorative geometric cartouche featuring interlaced strapwork borders at top and bottom. Flanking the central text on both sides are symmetrical sprigs of stylized olive or laurel branches rising from the lower field. The composition is purely epigraphic with no portrait, reflecting the Islamic artistic tradition of the Husainid dynasty. |

| Description du revers | The denomination '10 FRANCS' is boldly displayed in two lines at the centre of the field, with the country name 'TUNISIE' inscribed above in large Latin capitals. The numeral '10' is rendered in a larger font size, dominating the central space. Elaborate scrolling floral and foliate arabesque ornaments flank the numeral on either side and appear as decorative borders at the top and bottom of the design, executed in a style harmonising French Art Deco with North African decorative motifs. A fine beaded inner border runs along the coin's periphery. |
