Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino occupies the central field, flanked by oak branches to the right and olive branches to the left, rendered in fine relief. The state title REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO and the national motto LIBERTAS are inscribed along the upper and lower periphery respectively, while the engraver's signature BINO BINI appears in the legend along the coin's edge. The overall composition reflects the heraldic conventions standard to San Marinese commemorative coinage of the euro period.
