Issued as part of Germany's long-running commemorative euro series, this piece marks the Bauhaus school's time in Dessau, where it relocated in 1925 after political pressure forced its closure in Weimar. The Dessau phase — under Gropius and later Hannes Meyer and Mies van der Rohe — produced the school's most architecturally influential work before the Nazis shut it down permanently in 1933.
