| Obverse description | The obverse features a portrait effigy of the Spanish Baroque painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, rendered after the sculptural medallion by Ramón Barba (1767–1831) that adorns the facade of the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
