| 正面描述 | The obverse features a detailed depiction of the Brandenburg Gate, the celebrated neoclassical monument in Berlin that served as a symbol of German division during the Cold War and of national reunification thereafter. The gate is rendered in central relief, occupying the majority of the field. Encircling the design are the twelve stars of the European Union arranged in a ring, referencing Germany's membership in the Union. The mint mark letter, denoting one of the five German minting facilities, appears alongside the date in the lower portion of the field. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse displays the face value '10 EURO CENT' in bold legend to the right of a stylised map of the European Union as constituted by its fifteen member states, with national borders rendered in relief against a lined globe background. The design, engraved by Luc Luycx, is the common reverse type used for all eurozone 10 cent coins of the first series. The engraver's initials 'LL' appear to the lower right of the map. The overall composition emphasises European unity through geographic representation juxtaposed with the denomination. |
