Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Emperor Joseph I facing right, with long flowing curly hair, wearing elaborately decorated armor with a lace cravat and an ornate clasp visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style typical of the Graz Mint. The circular Latin legend runs along the entire periphery of the coin, separated by pellets, with the emperor's full imperial titulature. A fine toothed border frames the design.
