Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the fourth portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted with curled hair and wearing a diadem, earring visible at the ear. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery and COOK ISLANDS along the upper right, with the date 2023 at the top of the field. The denomination 10 DOLLARS and the fineness AU999 appear along the lower border, flanked by the weight indication 1 oz at lower left. The engraver's initials IRB appear in small relief beneath the truncation of the bust. The coin bears an antiqued finish, lending the high-relief portrait a rich golden-bronze patina.

Reverse description Dynamic high-relief depiction of Thor, the Norse god of thunder, shown in a powerful striding pose with his legendary hammer Mjolnir raised in his right hand, inscribed with runic characters. He is clad in fur-trimmed garments and a belt, flanked by two large horned goats — Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjostr — at his feet. Lightning bolts radiate behind the figure, and the entire central scene is framed by an intricate interlaced Celtic knotwork border. The series inscription NORSE GODS arcs along the upper periphery above a runic rendering of Thor's name, and the Latin legend THOR appears prominently along the lower border.
