Reverse description Central field depicts two overlapping reproductions of the obverse and reverse of the historic Venetian 50 Zecchini (Gold Sequin) struck under Doge Alvise Mocenigo IV (1763–1778). The left medallion shows Christ standing in a mandorla of stars, raising his right hand in blessing and holding an orb, surrounded by the legend REGIS·ISTE·DVCAT and SIT·T·XPE·DAT·Q·TV·. The right medallion depicts Saint Mark standing and presenting a gonfalon to the kneeling Doge, with the legend ALOY·MOCENICO and S·M·VENET·DVX. The series title MOST VALUABLE GOLD COINS IN THE WORLD arcs across the upper field, the inscription GOLD·SEQUIN·50·DUCATS·1763-1778 appears in the lower central field, and the denomination 10 DOLLARS is prominently displayed along the bottom.
