Reverse description A miniature rendition of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' iconic Liberty design, adapted from the 1933 Double Eagle. The full-length draped figure of Liberty strides forward, holding a flaming torch aloft in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, against a background of radiating sunrays. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper rim, with the date 1933 inscribed in the right field and a small circular V10 mintmark device at the right. The lower exergue bears the inscription 1/2 G .9999 FINEST GOLD, and stars and a rocky shoreline with the United States Capitol appear at the base of the design.
